At HCC, we believe prayer is at the heart of worship. In Prayer, through the Holy Spirit, we seek after and are found by the one true God who has been revealed in Jesus Christ. We listen and wait upon God, call God by name, remember God's gracious acts, and offer ourselves to God. Prayer grows out of the center of a person's life in response to the Spirit. Prayer is shaped by the Word of God in Scripture and by the life of the community of faith. Prayer issues in commitment to join God's work in the world.
In prayer we respond to God in many ways, in adoration, in thanksgiving, in confession, in supplication and in intercession. The Prayer Line is set up specifically to address the intercessory aspect of prayer. In intercession, we plead for others, on behalf of others, and for the whole world. This is part of "Caring for Everyone" and the Prayer Line helps our members express their concerns to the body.
To express your concerns, ask for prayer or join our prayer chain, plase email the church leadership via the address below-

Ever feel like you’re just too busy to connect with God? Ever feel embarrassed that you can’t maintain a daily quiet time? God made each of us to connect with Him in unique ways. Once we discover how God has wired us, it becomes easier to integrate daily space to be with God. On this retreat, we will explore 9 different ways to build a relationship with God, and how each of these ways might be integrated into our lives without adding more responsibilities to our schedules. To find out more, please call the Church at 972-869-3920.
Nursery & Childcare
The nursery at Hackberry Creek Church seeks to provide a safe, loving environment for infants and toddlers 36-months and under. Our goal is to allow parents to participate in church activities with the reassurance that their children are well cared for in a manner that is both developmentally and theologically appropriate. If you would like to make donations to our Nursery or volunteer by providing childcare during other events and programs, please contact Joel Costa at JoelC@Hackberrycreekchurch.com
